What a great place to grab a bagel before work. Downfall, it's too expensive for these college students (I once was one and it was rough) You're able to come in here around 6am, so enough time for those that have class or work at 8am. It was burnt down one year and are up and running now. I would only come here if I'm too lazy to go anywhere for food. I wouldn't come here leisure for expensive bagels.

i don't see what the big hype is with this bagel joint. I am an out of state student and went in here just on a whim! All I can say is YUCK!!! These bagels were really stale and gross. In addition, the wait staff is extremely rude. If you are looking for a bagel place, this is not the place to go.

The food is good but the staffs are very rude and unfriendly. Will never visit there again.

Best tuna fish on Grand River (note: Jimmy Johns is not directly on Grand River, so, that ranking excludes it), friendly service, kind of pricey for a bagel place, but also really great pumpernickel bagels. Favorite combo: Tuna, swiss and munster cheese, roasted red peppers, onions, dijon mustard on pumpernickel. Yum.

I ate lunch here twice a week one semester when I had a class in Berkey. I felt guilty every time: here I was with this perfectly good meal card for the cafeteria, and I was wasting money at a bagel joint. My default order was a turkey sandwich on a pumpernickel bagel and, upon the first bite, the guilt invariably melted into pure food bliss. Perfect every time. It's also a nice place to sit and read; I remember enjoying sunny winter days sipping soda near the window. Good times :-) Definitely worth a trip!

This place had an electrical fire last spring and is currently being re-modeled. The bagels are good--they taste pretty close to real Jewish bagels, not like that spongey crap made by Panera. That's the only thing I've ever had there. We go every Mother's Day for breakfast. I can't wait until they open again. Every since Bagel Haul in Haslett closed (as well as Bagel Fragel in E. L. ), there hasn't been a decent bagel place in town. Unfortunately, they only take cash, so make sure you have that with you. Update, August 2011: They also accept debit cards.

This place is horribel. The fod isgrat and the prices are bad but ome (not all ) of the employees just treat you like dogs. I will never go back there. My last experiece was so bad that when i called the corporte location they gave me a coupon... thats how bad it was. honestly the worst customer service i hav ever experienced !!!!!!!!!!! Basically this girl ws s rude andi asked ehr what was wrong ( i mean she was sighing an throwing my eggs on the counter what a dog) and she said it was a busy day ( mind youthe place was empty ) an i told her notto takeit out on me and she was arguing and all and then she said no im not beigng rude and satrtedgiving me maj attitude and i told her to stop and this gil most have been out of her mind and told me to drop it.i asked for the manager and she basically todl me that she was in chareg for right now and i was likeokay. she even started talking about me to the other rude girl loudly. they are such rude peoplei can not even believe that one would go there and this girl had the nerve to say have a nice day. well iwill hae a nice day because opf her i got a free coupon but i will not be using it at that brueggars. ugh.

Best bagels & cream cheese in town. The Bagels are BOILED, as far as I know they are the only ones in the Lansing area that do it. I prefer these to any in the area, hands down.

To me, rating take out is in relation to quality/price. Had a Roma roast beef sandwich that was marginal. Got a haircut on my lunch break and needed a quick sandwich. For $8.79 I got an average size sandwich, small bag of chips and medium soda. I kept taking a bite and wondering who came up with the curious mixture of ingredients. Ate the thing with a puzzled look on my face. The roast beef had a more than allowable amount of grizzly strings. Jimmy John's roast beef is twice as good.

Great bagels at a great price at a great spot on campus along Grand River. Sometimes the place gets PACKED, so pick your poison. This was my go-to back in college, and I miss it.

I love Bruegger's. I come here once a week at the very least, and I'm always happy with the food and customer service. A breakfast sandwich and a drink is usually about $6, which isn't too expensive in my opinion. A bagel with cream cheese is just over $2. The bagels are hot and fresh all morning long, so pretty much no matter when you go you can be sure your bagel was very recently made. The asiago bagels are my favorite, but right now they have pumpkin bagels! They're amazing, and I totally recommend them. If you go during an MSU passing period the line can get pretty long, but the staff keeps it moving at a good clip. The manager is so nice and always smiling, so I can't help but leave here in a good mood.

best bagel I have ever had, and people there are so nice. I always go during afternoon, that's when nobody come. So really nice place. Fair price, best flavor, tons of choices.
